The procedure is painless and quick. I was able to see 5 minutes after the surgery and had 20/20 vision the day after. I do have dry eyes but they are getting better as each day passes.
My motivation was the fact that I wore glasses from when I was in 6th grade and slowly they had become a part of me. Now I can confidently walk into meetings and know that my glasses are not creating any misconceptions in people's minds.
Also, I could never wear contact lenses as they would itch and cause redness. I feel great, no longer dependent on the glasses.
