Most of what I had hoped for was accomplished....I too was a a little disappointed in the recovery and the facts of what I wasn't told about what to expect..although I did plan to be out of work 10 days. (I am a teacher and scheduled to have this done during my spring break. This worked out fine) I don't ever remember hearing I could go back to work the next day so I think some of the comments I've read are a bit exaggerated...disappointment will do that to you though.

My biggest disappointment is the fact that the scar under my chin is so noticeable...I see it in pictures all the time. Now that all the swelling has subsided that "refreshed" look I initally had is gone. My sagging neck is much better and although some of the wrinkles are still there I do look better than before.

The lazer results were very temporary, most of the marks removed including the freckle on the side of my face have returned (not that that in itself is an issue but the brown spots on my face are all back too) My husband and I were just talking the other day and he agrees that the "freshness" has worn off and it's been just about 1 year now.

Your pictures look good. Sorry the results did not last as long as expected. This has been a continued complaint among many women that post on realself. Just be glad that you had good results. Some of us were not as lucky as you. Best, Chrystal

Hello, I'm scheduled for my consultation at the end of the month in San Ramon. I noticed that the doctor you had is no longer at this location. I'm thinking of having my eyes done as well as lipo and sculpting on my chin. After reading all these reviews, including three in San Ramon, I am so nervous. I already gave them a sizable deposit, I just don't know what to do. I wasn't thinking of doing the lift, though I could use it. I'm scheduled to see Dr. Hicks. I've looked up his credentials and degrees and everything seems to be in place. I just don't know what to do!!!

Do yourself a favor, ask for a refund. Then take that money and go and get a 2nd opinion (and a 3rd) from a private practice board certified plastic surgeon. Tell him what you were going to do and with whom and find out what he/she thinks. You only have one face and why take a chance that is unnecessary? Would you hire a plumber that had a 50% approval rating? READ my bio and see what happened to me. I hope you make an informed decision. More women are posting about being happy but I Wonder really how many are truly unsolicited without a shove, and after a year how many are really happy? Take the time and think it through. I WISH I HAD FOUND THIS site before I had my surgery with LSL. Best, Chrystal Eckes

Hello, I am also scheduled with Dr Hicks on July 25TH for lip and sculpting on my chin as well as laser. Can you tell me whether or not you did the procedure or not. And if so how are you doing and are you pleased so far with the results? Thx Stinkerman

I had laser but no sculpting.... Laser results wore off quicker than I would have thought. Still unhappy with scar under chin.
