first time applying makeup on my newly revised lids.

There's still some swelling, asymmetry, eye opening, pink scar and some wrinkles at the inner corner of my eyelids, so far, I'm really happy of the outcome and waiting patiently to see the final result.

I had gotten my eyelids done 4 years ago by a doctor in LA who claimed to have performed over 20,000 cosmetic procedures within 19 years. I've seen a few of his patients who got their eyelids done by him on the soompi forum and they looked great. So I proceeded to get my eyelids done by him as well and it didn't turn out the way I was hoping for. He didn't seem to care what the patients goals were and would do whatever looks good to him. He gave me a really large unnatural parallel crease. I just thought that overtime, the crease would eventually look more natural but it never did. I went back to him and inquire about a revision, but he'll charge me $600 for facility fee and claims that I have partial ptosis? which adds $1000 on top of that. Thats BS. I have been depressed for a few years now. I've heard that many people go to Korea to get their revisions done, some would look better and some would look worse after the revision. I didn't want to go through that so I have been doing a lot of research to find the right doctor for my revision and I found great reviews on Dr.Chase Lay in San Jose. I then made a consultation appointment which took a few weeks but it was all worth it. When I first met him, I knew that he'll be the right doctor for me because he was very knowledgeable in the work he does and very confident as well. He was also really nice and attentive and answered all of my questions and concerns. The next day, i immediately scheduled a surgery date with him.
The morning of surgery, we talked a bit about what I'm looking for in my revision surgery (tapered, natural crease), made sure that we're on the same page, took some pictures of my eyelids and then he measured and marked them. We proceeded into the operating room, gave me a few numbing shots in my eyelids, and we just chit chatted during the whole procedure which made me a lot less nervous, then he had me open my eyes a few times, and before you know it, an hour has past and its over. eezy peezy! Overall, I had a great experience throughout my whole revision procedure.
That evening, Dr.Lay called me to make sure everything was going well and also gave me his personal number to call just incase of an emergency.
I'm currently at day 17 and i'm loving my results. I can't wait to see the final result!!
Thank you Dr.Lay!! :)
