Feeling great at 6dpo

I have been feeling so much more back to normal since yesterday and it should only get better since I just finished my antibiotic. The gas cramps and diarrhea that came from that was honestly he worst part of recovery for me. Thankfully it only lasted about 24 hours. As of yesterday I also don’t feel any sternum pain or pain in chest when I cough! I also called my ps and they said I could sleep all the way flat now since I was already a back sleeper. I still have morning boob that lasts a couple of hours in the morning but it definitely dissipates. My nipples have been hyper sensitive too but they always get sensitive during ovulation for me which is where I’m at in my cycle right now. I have a little bit of itchiness near the incision areas but it’s hard I tell if it’s there or because of the bra. I’ll be glad to swap the sports bra for a bralette. We’ll see what they say about that a my 1 week appt. on Monday. Super happy with how my nipples popped back out.

I did it!

I can’t believe I’m on the other side but I had my surgery 4 days ago and I really think everything looks great even this soon. The whole procedure was uneventful and I had zero nausea or pain coming out of anesthesia. I think a huge contributor was the Emend pill I took 2 hours before surgery. I remember them talking to me about my mask chain and I told them it was for glasses too and they were talking about how they liked it and thought it was “fancy” lol. Then I woke up to a nurse telling me my husband was there. I remember her putting my shoes on and getting into a wheelchair and then got into the car. It was all very easy! And here i am 4 day post op. Yesterday was probably the worst soreness and pain mainly because I was extremely bloated and then I finally had a couple of very loose stools and today feel so much lighter. I never took the pain pills, I just did the Tylenol and the gabapentin nerve pain med, along with the antibiotic that is a must for the first 5 days. I can’t wait to see and document the drop and fluff process.

Surgery in 5 days!

I had my preorder appointment last week and wanted to update because my size has changed. We were initially thinking of doing 350cc moderate plus profile but after another measuring, my doctor thinks I should bump it down to 330 but do high profile. That scared me a little because I’m a little worried about too much projection. My surgeon assured me that it would only start to look too round if I went with bigger cc’s. Apparently, I have a narrower bwd than I thought. I really hope it will fit well and honestly, not give too much upper pole. She said it wouldn’t though! I hope I can trust that!
I’ve done pretty much all my prep, took my covid test today. I’ve been prepping meals all week and in the midst of all that I’m trying to make sure I have som special things planned for my sons 7th birthday, and Father’s Day.

It’s going to be a busy weekend. Which is ok by me because it keeps my mind from wandering into the nervous zone.
