First off, let me do a little background...

First off, let me do a little background here:

Hi! I'm Kendra! I grew up known as the "fat girl." I exercised my little heart out, but was always overweight. By my 20's I was Morbidly (omg!!) obese at 335lbs. I took the initiative at 24 to instead of buying a car, getting lap band, and over the course of 4 years losing 165lbs. I ended up a 170 lb size M or 10 (I am 5 feet 9 inches tall btw!)

All was great right? Well, for a little while. I ended up having my lapband deflated with TWO pregnancies, and gained back 90 lbs! You can imagine what my poor body looked like! Have you ever seen a sharpei? Let's say (this is not an exaggeration) that my grandma looked better in a bathing suit than me. :(

Early last year I decided I had enough. No longer will I cry myself to sleep. I lost the weight, and started saving. I had my mommy makeover in feb. I have to say my doctor Lance Wyatt was a god send and made me absolutely new again! I cannot believe this is me!

I am not going to lie, the first few weeks are hell. I couldn't walk, ended up not healing as I was malnutritioned. Feeding yourself and keeping your iron levels high are very important here. I ended up with an open wound due to being allergic to steri strips (they fell off hours after surgery and left a massive rash) and just not healing. Dr Wyatt was Amazing! He called often to check on me and saw me at least weekly. His staff is Awesome and they really care. There are many GEMS here. Don't expect to be coddled however! Dr Wyatt is very blunt and honest. Not to a fault, but in this area you need to hear the truth right?

My surgery was quick and easy. The recovery was hard and exhausting. They don't tell you what a pain in the rear drains are, but they really are needed. You WILL need help getting to the bathroom. You WILL NOT be able to carry your children for a few weeks. My advice is research everything first. Some women say their hardest part was the breast Aug. mine was amazingly easy! tummy tuck was not so much.

Verdict: 100 percent WORTH IT!

I cannot give a better review for this doctor. His bed side manner was great, but the best part was when I had a problem he didn't blame, hide or try to ignore it. He helped me through it all and assured me I would be fine. He made me BEAUTIFUL!! Ihave my confidence back. Staff are the most caring and amazing women I have had the pleasure to meet. Anesthesiologist was my favorite! He's a crack up! You won't be unhappy with this doctor. He is magic!
