I just had my first treatment of Juvederm in my lips. I LOVE it! My Dr. used numbing cream about 10 minutes before and I barely felt a thing. I was so nervous and it ended up being as easy as botox. I don't seem to have a lot of swelling - at least I hope not because I love the way my lips look right now. I took Arnica for four days prior and will continue to take it for a couple of days. It's been about 4 hours and my lips are a little tender but that's it.

Hopefully the final results are as good as they are right now!

On day two my lips started swelling and on day three I had brusing on my bottom lip. My niece asked me if I had pierced my lip! :) My son asked me what was wrong with my lips? Bumps on the inside of my lips - you can't see them but I can feel them. Every day the bumps feel a little less. My lips are a little tender but nothing painful! I still like the results but am glad I had already planned 5 days away from the office. There is no way I could have gone to work during this recovery without a lot of questions. Would do it again without hesitation!
