Do Not Do this peel unless you have nothing to loose. I had a perfect skin and got complements on my porcelaine skin from everybody. But my friend did this peel and told me that it can actually reverse skin aging and stimulates the production of collagen and that she just loved it. So I did it. It was probably the biggest mystake I've made in my life. If you ever decide to do it, do your homework first and learn about post procedure care.

These are things that had happen to my face after the peel: 1. scars 2. hyperpigmentation 3. extremely tight, red, uneven, damaged, sensitive skin 4. dark spots under my eys and skin looks 20 years older 5. all creams that I used now give me irritation, burning sensation and I have to apply them every 30 min otherwise my skin gets so tight that it gives me headache 6. not to mention that now for like 6-9 months I will have to stay out of sun to avoid additional hyperpigmentation.

I really ruined my perfect skin, very mad at myself. I just hope so much that one day I will 100% recover from it. So I guess the only point to do this peel is when you have absolutely nothing to loose.

I do the VIPeel and I have NEVER seen what you are describing. Maybe you were treated with something else? Please inform us with more info, like the doctor's name, exactly the treatment procedure. Also call the VIPeel company to see if this doctor is a certified user of these therapies. From MIAMI Dr. B

Many people make a huge mistake getting treatments they don't need. If it doesn't need fixing, don't fix it, you end up with problems. Treatments like chemical peels need to be done with appropriate before and after care, there is no such a thing as a one off treatment with perfect, long lasting result.
It shocks me how people do what their friends do, just because they can. Consult and consider the options, don't treat if you don't need it.
