8 weeks PO - Feeling great, still feels better when I wear compression - San Diego, CA

Feeling great, still feels better when I wear compression, I still feel really vulnerable without it believe it or not. Using Dermatix Ultra on my scars and it seems to be working great! I have family coming tuesday to stay with us for 2 weeks so I probably won't get much time to go on RealSelf so I just wanted to touch base with everyone. The next few weeks will be filled with swimming, the County Fair, Antique Car Shows, Wineries, some sightseeing, shopping, grilling, eating and having fun! Feeling great, I'm back to exercising 5 days a week for 45-60 mins. a day! Swelling still at night but minimal compared to a couple of weeks ago, swelling still concentrated to the lowest part of my incision above the pubic area. I feel so lucky that I was able to have this surgery, and although healing has not been a cake walk I would do it again in a heartbeat!! I have heard that there is some skepticism in the real self community as to whether or not my pictures are real and not photoshopped. To these people I say that I have never photoshopped, nor do I know how to photoshop a picture. My husband had to upload my pictures for me until 2 weeks ago because I had no idea how to do it. Please know that I share all of these pictures as a testament to my progress and to encourage others out there who are waiting for their surgery. I know that my body looks dramatically different than before but I attribute all of this to my PS, he is the one who works miracles, and for those doubters

I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I am feeling better everyday, and swelling is getting better everyday too, had a appt. with my PS today and he is very happy with my progress, enough so that I don't have to come back for 2 weeks!!!
