Dr. Pousti and his staff were amazing from start to finish. It was clear from the start how seasoned they are in dealing with patience, as well as this particular surgery. They go to great measures to make sure you are comfortable and really exceed any expectation you could have. Right away, I knew I had made the right decision in choosing Dr. Pousti. He is very personable, kind, and you can see the passion he has for helping people achieve their goals. Before anything, he is a genuine person and kind soul. And of course, he is extremely confident in his ability. He reinforces that the he will produce the result you are looking for and triple checks to make sure he is clear about what YOU want. For my particular surgery he truly understands the science behind it, and his breadth of experience has served him well in knowing how to not only complete the surgery but get as close to perfection as possible. For my surgery he masked the incision extremely well and 1 week out it is quite difficult to tell that I had surgery. He explained to me the importance of not removing too much, as well as the importance of symmetry. It was clear that Dr. Pousti was very confident in delivering and I never once doubted his ability. On surgery day he makes sure you both are clear on what you want, and he outlines his game plan through markups. The biggest thing I appreciated was that he makes sure you are in a good place mentally before you are given anesthesia. He really makes an effort to go outside of his role and be a friend as he understands how important and difficult of a process surgery can be. All in all, Dr. Pousti exceeded my expectation and I will never forget what he did for me, and the friend he was to me during the entire process. I worked closely with Vanessa and Daisy as well and both were very helpful and supportive through out the entire process before and after the surgery. Any questions or concerns that I had I knew they were a phone call away. Daisy called me every day post-op up until my 1st appointment and even after. She was my personal alarm clock. They were the 1st people I heard from every single day. Their level of professionalism was 2nd to none. The entire staff is a great group. They are very warm embracive people which is what you want throughout this type of process. I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone thinking about gynecomastia surgery, it was one of the best decisions of my life no question.
