I am 41yrs old with 2 teenage boys 19 and 15. I have been wanting a TT since I started having babies. I had 2 C-sections and a partial hysterectomy, so I thought this TT would be a piece of cake, I admit I am scared, nervous,and excited. I have even lost a few lbs close toward the countdown, cant sleep and not very much of an appetite.I admit when I found this site and started reading all of the success story it really help me to be more calm and not dreading this procedure lord knows I have be wanting this for a long time. I will post some before and after pics,all I need is some words of encouragement.

Post op day 1 I am feeling better a lil sore but fine, I have a pain pump as well as viocdin and muscle relaxer, I thank all the ladies who gave shots out it really did help and also reading some stories really put me at ease for surgery yesterday(7/6/12) I only remember going to sleep and waking up which was the awesome part. My doctor call this morning to check up on me, he is awesome and funny!

Update: its been 6 days since my TT for the most part I am doing fine, but my back is killing me! and when I cough OMG! thought my stomach was about to explode, I know to hold my stomach when I cough, it just caught me off guard. I know it takes a while for the swelling to go down, just was wondering how long will it take, I do see some results of my TT but my stomach is still big, I guest I need a pick me up!

It has been 8 months since my TT, I am kicking myself because I wish I had done it sooner. I am very please with the results and anyone who is thinking about it, I say go for it. Dr. Koneru is the bomb!!!

Congrats for getting to post surgery! You did it! Mine is 8/9 and I am worried about recovery. Eeeek! Thank you so much for sharing. Please continue. What day was the "turning point" for you on recovery journey? I like goals to help me.

Thank you, 2nd day after my surgery,I ate a full-course meal and it made all the difference, i am now able to get up on my own and get myself dress, the hard part is over! You will be fine, like everyone else who had surgery I had all kind of thoughts going through my head,but the experience was relaxing the staff was friendly and that helps.
