Breastfed Two Kids….about to Turn 40 and This Was my Gift to Myself! - San Antonio, TX

Forgive the bad lighting - this is a photo I took this morning (3 weeks post op). I haven't gone bra shopping yet but think I'm probably a full C, small D. My surgery was done in the breast fold but you can't see the scar unless you look for it. I'm putting scar fading cream on it and it's going away pretty quickly.

My youngest child is turning 8 so this was not something I decided to do on a whim. After looking through hundreds of breast augmentation photos and researching doctors in the area, I settled on Dr. Pilcher since she has a solid reputation and her before and after photos were among the best I've seen!Dr. Pilcher is direct and honest. One of my greatest concerns was choosing the right implant size. Based on her experience, she encouraged me to go up a size from what I originally selected (went from 325 cc's to 350 cc's - silicone) and I'm glad I did. I was concerned about having implants that were too large but after seeing the final result, I love the way the 350 cc's look and don't think the 325 cc's would have filled out as nicely. My recovery was easier than expected and my new breasts look beautiful, symmetrical and…exactly like I had hoped. I couldn't be happier. I'm three weeks post-op and my only complaint is that I still have to wait to get back into the gym. Overall, this was a wonderful experience with a skilled, gifted surgeon. I'm so very grateful to Dr. Pilcher and her staff.
