I had open Septorhinoplasty done due to NAO from trauma. I can breath much better but did get a staph infection after which is rare that required hospitalization. My nose is still swollen at graft site and I'm more critical than others at this point. I've been told it will go down more or may have to be revised if not better in 6 months.

Open Septorhinoplasty

Done 3/28/14. Most swelling gone now with a little left on graft site where cartilage and baton grafts were placed. Still a little stiff but softening more every day. Can breath much better than prior to surgery and sense of smell greatly improved.

I'm so glad you're breathing better now. Your nose looks nice and straight! How long after surgery was it until you were back to your normal routine?

3 weeks of no lifting or straining. Nose is still very stiff and dry. Lots of saline washing. Swelling continues to go down.
