4 month post op update and photos

I had my 4 month post op with my doctor last week. I got copies of my before and after, what do you think? No make up!!

Friend who opposed my surgery now talking about it for her!!

My husband and I went out for supper with some friends on New Year's day. Everyone at the table is in their 50's but me (49). They had lots of questions about my surgery and after pain ect. Age was a big topic of the evening, being brought up by our friends over and over, they said I look 35. So I said to my friend, why don't you look into it? She said she might, her husband had already been talking about it since they saw me last. This is from a couple (who are both psychiatrists) that when I told them I was getting 'work' done, said it was very sad that I let society push me into major surgery, that I did not need it. I am glad I did this, I feel so much better now. I admit I do not want everyone to know that I had 'work' done, but I am not ashamed of it. I am pretty sure that I will have more surgery, a mommy makeover. Why not? Why should I let myself go if I can do something about it? I snapped a couple pictures before I left to eat with my friends, never would have done this before I had surgery.

My husband and I at Cristmas.

My 'old' man and I, just kidding. My chin is getting better, less swelling, still a little tender.

Dr Nayak is not only very educated and skilled but he is a complete sweetheart. I did an extensive search for my PS, the drive is worth it. Everyone in and near Saint Louis you are very lucky to have him so close. Dr Nayak's staff have always been very polite and helpful.
