“Lipo Torso and Thighs - Saginaw, MI”

I am having my liposuction procedure tomorrow 4/14/11!! I am having my torso and thighs done also a repair of a separation near my naval from my tummy tuck last May. I am super excited for the results and much better prepared this time for my procedure. I am having it outpatient have to be there at 6:45 am my surgery is scheduled for 8:15. I will post pics soon.

Today is Sunday my surgery was Thursday so I am on day 4 post op.... It has been rough. I am very sore and look like a purple grape. My bruises start below my breast all the way to my knees. The first day was not as bad as the second and third. Once the lidocaine that was injected during the procedure wore off I really started to feel a burning sensation. I need help getting up, once I am up I feel sore and stiff, but I can move around. The initial swelling wasn't that bad, but last night I could really tell that I have a lot of swelling, my garment which goes from below my breasts to below my knees has gotten a lot tighter. Today was my first BM, I thought I was going to faint on the commode...thank goodness I didn't. I doubt my hubby could handle a sight like that. My bruises alone bother him.

I have been spending most of my days and evenings all propped up on the love seat. Head and feet elevated. The pain is a lot worse than I had anticipated, and I don't see myself leaving the house anytime soon. My sister had been in and out the making sure I have everything I need and my wonderful husband had been a terrific help.

I am not sure how much fat was removed, I hope it was enough, based on the pain I am in now I would not want to do it again.

I can already see a difference in my thighs the bulge on the outside is gone, and the roll of fat at the bottom of my butt is smooth.

My midline is very sore from the repair from my tummy tuck, my plastic surgeon said he actually redid my muscle along my midline, and reconstructed my belly button. I think my incision is about 5 inches long. So the bulge I had there will be gone, I can see that I am flatter there. He did a bit of lipo right under my breasts also. The pain in that area is more severe, the garment is so tight on my ribs that I have to un zip it every couple of hours to relieve the discomfort.

I have somewhat of appetite, which kind of surprised me. I have been taking my pain medications with cottage cheese, drinking lots of water and diet vernor's. I am taking something for nausea every morning as each day I have felt like I was going to vomit...the last thing I want to do is get sick. I did have to cough a couple of times, so I had my hubby wrap a large towel around my middle and hold it tight while I coughed, helped a lot more than a pillow did.

Today I plan to shower, once I get my nerve and energy up. Just worried about getting dizzy when I stand up for more than a few minutes. I am sure once I do I will feel better, it will feel good to do my hair and put on a little makeup.

I have been taking my pain pills 750 vicodin every 3 hours or so when I am awake. The RX says I can take 1 -2 every 4 -6 hours. They really only take the edge off the pain, this is not for sissy's if you can't take pain it isn't for you. I knew I would be sore, but I really did not think it would be this bad. As long as I can see a difference I will be happy. I was also prescribed an antibiotic to take for 10 days. Seems like a lot of pills to choke down, which is exactly what I have to do.

Thursday 6/16 I am going in for a touch up from my liposuction procedure in April....I have a larger love handle on the right side and my thigh on the outside are not a symetrical as I had hoped. My Doctor did not hesitate to agree to fix these areas at no charge....very happy for that!! I will update after my surgery and post pictures. He took out about 3000 cc the first time and thinks about another 1000cc.

Had my touch up yesterday morning....beside throwing up most of the way home I survived. I feel like I was beaten with a paddle and it hurts to change positions, but other than that I donote really feel to bad. I will post new pictures soon!
