“Invisalign - It Works! - Roseville, CA”
Spent: $6,000 in Roseville, CA
I decided to get Invisalign since my dental insurance started to cover adult braces. I had always wanted them to correct my crowded and crooked teeth.
I did 18 months of Invisalign followed by 5 months of regular braces. The Invisalign was much easier to deal with than the braces, but an interesting experience nonetheless. My insurance covered $2000 so I only paid $4000 out of pocket, this included the braces at the end. My teeth are now straight, save for a bottom tooth that is slightly off. It doesn't bother me though and I am happy with my smile. Note that I decided to quit the braces early since I was just fed up with them, otherwise that bottom tooth likely would have gotten straight eventually.
Invisalign was great and I would do it all over again.

Pros: The office staff was professional. Appointments were flexible. Office is clean and high tech although it mostly caters to children. Cons: Some important information was left out that I had to ask for, like the video simulation of my teeth being straightened. I wasn't shown how to brush with the braces or how to floss (yes, it's different), nor was I offered any "Chewies" (they help with the pain). Once I found out about these things I asked about them and was given them, but I feel they should have been offered up front.
How come you had to have regular braces too? Was it for something that Invisalign couldn't correct?
Anyway, your teeth look great. Congrats!
