6 MO Post Op
This is my 6 month post op review! definitely loving my results, and I would say that this is the final view of these puppies. I have yet to do the Lipo on my arms, money has been tight, but I am scheduled to do it Nov 26 with another wonderful doctor that will be having a review on my profile also!
I had little to no swelling after the surgery, little to no pain. I did have JP tubes put in but that didn't stop me from going to work 3 days later. I also wore silicone strips religiously for scarring, which I think helped a lot. the incisions are perfect, hardly visible, goes with the folds of my body.
I can say that I am in love with my results. THANK YOU, DR. SZCZERBA!!

1 Month Post Op
Recovery is great!
Stopped taking my pain meds 4 days after surgery day. Didn't need them at all.
Stitches are completely gone now; scarring has reduced, which I think has a lot to do with the silicone strips I bought. Had my post op appt on Wednesday and he did notice the "dog ears" left behind. He mentioned that he would do lipo but since I was still swollen, he misjudged on what to do- He said he could do something in the office to reduce the size/get rid of the "dog ears" covered by my insurance.
Now that I no longer have the bulge in my armpit area, I started to become more self conscious about my arms; my arms have always been disproportionate to my body-it seems to run in my fathers family. I have decided that I will do lipo on my upper arms.
I initially walked in asking for an arm lift but Dr.Szczerba explained that due to my age, my body still has elasticity and lipo will tighten the skin as well as remove the excess fat.
I will keep you all updated, and once again; Dr.Szczerba has been the greatest doctor I've seen. I highly recommend him and his team!

2 Weeks Post-Op
2 weeks and I'm feeling GREAT! I had my surgery done the 16th, went into my desk job the 19th! I have had little to no pain, just a bit of discomfort because of the numbness in my arms. Let me tell you, what actually hurt more than my surgery was the numb fat in my arms. THAT HURTS. But no need for pain pills even if I was prescribed wonderful narcotics. My incisions don't look bad at all!!
I do have a little bulge on the front but Dr.Szczerba said he did not want to cut all the way to the front, so he would lipo the little bulges for a nice flat surface.
I have bought silicone strips to minimize the appearance of my incisions since my steri-strips fell off last week. They are supposed to work wonders, only time will tell!
For those who have skin that LOVE AND ENJOY paper tape residue; I used baby oil to get rid of it all! Very gentle on the skin, tough on the tape residue!
