Hi! I'm 56 yrs old, 5'7", 160 lbs. 4 years ago I went through aggressive treatment for breast cancer (lumpectomies, chemo, radiation) which had a major impact on my body (boobs & belly) and confidence. I always had a proportional body before cancer, so I want to get rid of my post-cancer 10-month prego belly and regain my confidence to be nude in front of my husband again.

After 4 years of considering some sort of belly-reducing procedure, I now am less than 2 more days and I'm becoming more and more anxious. I know that I'm my own worst enemy by stirring up these anxieties, but at least I have your stories to settle me somewhat. I wonder if I should ask my Dr for some meds like xanax or valium so that I can get a couple of good nights sleep? I am as prepared as I can be and I'm very fortunate to have an over-the-top supportive husband. He found this site before me and he's on it at least once/day! He pretty much set me up with most that has been recommended here i.e., colase, MOM, recliner, bromelain, arnica, pillows, lanyard, etc and he's already planning my low sodium, high protein meals!
