Provider Review
Dr. Richards is very nice and tries to be accommodating, but I'm afraid those are the only positive things I have to say about my experience. I had a procedure performed by him that will now need to be fixed by another doctor. I saw Dr. Richards hoping to improve my neck profile. My consultation was very rushed (a bad sign I wish I had paid more attention to) and without any other suggestions, told me that neck liposuction was the answer. It was not. I now have very visible banding under my neck (and I am a young person). I have since been told by several other doctors that this was bound to happen, as I do not have the proper facial structure for fat removal alone and that I needed other things done to prevent this from happening. Dr. Richards never mentioned this, nor any other risks/complications and glossed over the recovery, as well. He also seemed to be confused by my results and unable to provide concrete answers, which left me feeling like he's not very experienced in performing this procedure for a wide variety of facial types, etc. I also find it interesting that so many of his reviews mention how great his staff is, as that was not my experience. While they were friendly, they were also often unresponsive and unhelpful. I'm sure Dr. Richards excels at other procedures, but this was and continues to be a bad experience for me and I wish I had never done it. I don't want to live with a neck that looks like this and want to have it fixed, but I am terrified that something like this will happen again. Please do your research. I recommend finding a doctor who specifically specializes in the procedure(s) you are planning to have done. As I said, Dr. Richards is a kind person and I believe he really does mean well, but unfortunately that's not enough when choosing someone to work on your face.
