I had one vial divided between my two marionette lines. The NP mixed it with Lidocaine and I felt no pain ever. The first day I looked like the Joker. The second day I looked like Marlon Brando from "The Godfather" with bruising. By the end of the week the bruises and swelling were gone; but, gotta admit, there is still a bit of "The Godfather" look around my mouth. My family says in all honesty, there isn't much of a significant difference in my appearance.

Hi Pen,

Oh your description of looking like Marlon Brando was hilarious! Thanks for the laugh. I agree with your family that I doubt it is as ad as Marlon Brando (LOL) it seems we always see things worse than they actually are. I'm sure the swelling will go down a bit more. When you no longer feel like you look like that we would love to see pictures. Please keep us updated.

Thanks so much for the review and the laugh,

-Britt

Hope your doing better. I recently had Juvederm for my marionette lines and it has been a month and i still have the godfather look too. plus my lower lip feels tight when i laugh or smile wide...i hope this goes away soon because i feel as if everyone notices. Please let us know how your doing.

Penfield followup- Well, the swelling that made me look like "the Godfather" did go down. So much so that now it looks like I never had anything done. The NP who did the Radiesse agreed and offered a second injection of Juvederm for free. Although that is a great offer; I declined because I'm afraid of looking like "the Godfather" for months.
