One week ago I had liposonix done on rwo areas. Used 1mg xanax and 100 - 200 mg (started with 100 mg, had to increase to 200mg) for sedation and pain relief. The doctor did three passes at 60 joules. Having my flanks done was very tolerable so I decided to have my upper and lower abdomen done at the same visit. This was excrutiating and unbearable.
It is too early to tell what kind of result I will get. But I can say that, based on the pain levels, I would be willing to have my flanks done a second time if indicated, but would never have my abdomen done again unless I was anesthetized. I don't think the pain level/s had anything to do with the competence of the provider, just my own personal sensitivity level.
