Dr. ferland from richmond va had her assistant do the procedure. i think she should have done it. i was dissappointed in results and she was not very compassionate.

I am fifty years old and had the coolsculpting done on my abs because I had stubborn fat there that did not ever go away. I measured every day for the eight weeks and never saw a change. Maybe if the doctor had been the one to attach the applicator it may have worked. i did not have much pain afterwards. i had some numbness that lasted a week or so. i have read on here that someone else had a similar situation with an assistant actually doing the procedure and not the doctor. i did not have that kind of money to throw away.

Dr. Ferland called me and left a voicemail saying she was sorry she got angry with me at my follow up meeting. When I went in for follow up after 8 weeks, there were no changes after the 900 dollar procedure. She was very defensive and rude. She tried to say she was in the room to attach the machine, but she was NOT there.

Do not go to this person!!!

her website shows her as the doctor but when you go in for procedure, she marks your belly and then she is not even in the room to make sure the assistant does it correctly. 900 dollars and she does not even hook it up to the patient. i saw no results. 900 dollars. she was also very rude and defensive when i expressed my disappointment. she even called to say she was sorry for getting angry with me.Updated on 11 Jun 2012:She advertises that she does the coolsculpting procedure and she actually is not in the room. I saw no difference after spending 900 dollars.She also got very defensive when I questioned these things and she was very rude. She is taking money for people and not even doing the procedure herself and producing no results. Horrible!!
