Drains out!
Today I had my first post-op visit, they removed my drains (hallelujah), as well as the stitches in the belly button. My doctor was very happy with the results. The scar is healing very nicely, it is just raised on the extremities, but nothing out of the ordinary. The nurse was very impressed that it's not even red,

Last night was rough, I only took one Percocet, and was extremely uncomfortable, especially on the incision spot under the right breast. It felt like a sharp knife digging through it, it was bad. I didn't sleep very well, but after taking 2 pills this morning, it was much better. I was able to take a shower on my own, wash my hair and take care of my wounds. I then took a very long nap, it was very nice. Here is a picture of me before the shower this morning. The drains are a little below the tummy scar, I can't wait for these to be gone!

Dr. Ladocsi is extremely professional and courteous. I was in excellent hands, and the staff was very nice and caring. Their office is fully booked, yet they never advertise. I think that tells you something!
