I had a smartxide treatment done on me last May. I was offered a thick layer of numbing cream for 40 minutes prior the treatment. During the treatment, it was not the pain that bothered me, but the heat from the laser. The heat stayed with me for over 6 hours. For the first six days, I was so red, and on day seven the scabs began to shed.
It is now over six months since I got my smartxide, and my acne scars have improved a lot. I am very happy with the result. I am scheduled to do another treatment on March.

Did your doctor mention how many times you would need to go for the scars to go away fully?
