Worth It
Spent: $7,900 in Thousand Oaks, CA

At the ripe old age of 53, finally got my rhinoplasty that I had wanted since I was 14!  It has been 8 weeks and is truly turning into the "Incredible Shrinking Nose."  I can see the results that I will end up with and I'm thrilled.  I already have a profile that I am very proud of.  The surgery is not what I would consider painful at all.  The recovery, for the first four days is uncomfortable, but do-able.  It is a slow process in terms of seeing your results.  The tip of the nose and bridge is the last part to reduce in swelling.  In fact, the tip stays very hard, which was surprising to me.  It is due to the fluid that is still in the nose.  My doctor was amazing and made sure I truly understood that it will take a few months to see the final results.  He explained the whole process from surgery to full recovery, so there were no suprises.  It is the best thing I could have done....just wish I had done it a lot sooner.

As soon as I get another month in, I'll send before and after photos.
