Worth It
Spent: $4,500 in Boise, ID

Hi ladies. I sometimes find it funny that a nose job is called rhinoplasty, because the way my nose was, i did look like a rhino! ha ha! So now you can imagine how badly i needed a nose job. My nose was long and due to an extended bone , i also suffered from sinus. I felt embarassed stepping out with a beak for a nose and after i saved enough, i got rhinoplasty done.

It was a simple process. I was awake throughout and it took about 3 hours. The doctor was talking to me all the time and telling me what he was doing. I did not feel a thing. He made an incision, reshaped the cartilage, placed back and then my nose was stitched back up. Then he put some soft, cotten balls type stuff inside my nose and placed a splint on the outside. I wore the splint for 10 days. My nose was swollen and bruised for two weeks . I also saw some swelling reach up to near my eyes and i got regular headaches till the swelling disappeared. I did not blow my nose till the swelling disappeared and just wiped gently with a tissue if it watered, which it did.. alot. When i removed the splint, my new nose looked like a normal nose and i looked like a person and not a rhino. Seriously, rhinoplasty is quite a simple process. I searched on many forums and saw that it hardly had side effetcs. I am very happy with my nose job. It is easy for me to breathe now and i look great. Like a whole new person!

I was wondering what doctor you went to?..I am having a major difficulties trying to find a right surgeon. I actually have the same problem. I got a beak for a nose. lol Since are nose types may be similar I thought that I could ask what doctor you went to. I happen to have a bump on my nose since I broke it a very long time ago.

Yes, I need help too in choosing the right surgeon. I'm a professional singer/actress as well and extremely "detailed-oriented" I only want the slightest corrections done. This is hard. Scheduling consults with all the so-called experts, but don't really know what to believe. Dr. Jacono, Dr Bellin, the NYC biggies...
