I am only 5 wks post op but so far I can say that I finally have curves where there once was lumps and rolls of skin. I still get the swelling of course. Im not wearing my pre-op cloting yet. My complaint is that my pain management was not handled well. My doc was afraid to give me "too many" pills and I ended up without any over the weekend and had to borrow some from a friend. I still have flabby skin above the BB, I expected it to be a bit better. My stretch marks are still there but thats fine with me, Im 47, not trying to wear midriff showing styles. Pain was the worst part and now not sleeping on my side is causing back pain.

How much weight do you think you have lost in 5 weeks? I know it's not suppose to be alot but would you say 5 pounds of skin and fat? Also, how did you like your belly button? I'm nervous about that. I'm supposed to get a tummy tuck and breast augentation on the 12th of September. I'm excited but scared of a few things. Is your scar worth it to you? I know having a belly is probably worse but those scars are pretty dramatic. I'm sorry to bother you with so much but I'm really curious and don't know a single soul who has done this. Everyone I tell that I'm getting it done tells me I don't need it but they dont' know what I look like naked! I had three kids all c-section and I can grab my belly in both hands and have literally move it up and down, it's gross! Thanks for any info. you can give.

this was posted over a year ago so I am curious if this person had her tummy tuck? I have seen average 5-10lbs removed however I had 19lbs removed during my TT and 5lbs removed from my breast lift. I love my new belly button and the pain will be worth it.
