Worth It
Spent: $500 in Glendale, AZ

I am 47 years and pretty young looking but have these ugle lines around my lips. I hate them more than anything and I have never been a smoker but who knew that sipping from a coffee cup lid or using a straw would do this.

Anyway I have had Restylane three times now and each time the results are better. I think no matter what make sure you go to someone who knows what they are doing. Going for my 4th time next month. Very natural.

I had some real issues with brusing though so this last time got Arnica and took a few days off of work. I also seem to be really sensitive in that area so even with a dental dam it hurts like anything....but its done pretty quickly and you will love the results.

My Doctor: Name not provided

Very professional and takes the time to make sure it looks good. I was going for a very natural look and she was very careful to not make my lips look too puffy.

I also have the lip wrinkles I call it "water bottle lip" and I HATE it. I had restylane and it was VERY painful and I looked like a prizefighter. A prizefighter that lost. Once the bruising went away, I did get good results. The wrinkles are just now starting to show again after 6 monthes. I want to go again but am afraid of the bruising.

Good result depend on the experienced medical provider (MD, PA, NP) and the area injected. I am curious how often you have the Restylane done glendale60? $500.00 is reasonable but if done every 3 months then, not. some people are much more sensitive than others and anesthetic blocks seem to help without consistency. Try the topical lido preparations 30 minutes before the procedure and along with the anesthetic blocks have local injections deep around the lips for a complete block, I have heard some practitioners mixing the lidocaine block with Restylane to achieve a more pain free procedure as well and 3rd have your medical provider use a 32 guage needle(the smallest needle around). Don't be afraid of the bruising it can be an unavoidable occurrence. Treat yourself to some ice cream after the procedure this may help reduce the bruising, better yet, have your practitioner treat you to some ice cream, this makes it somehow taste better too.
