Mommy Make-over! Reston, VA

I'm 4 months out from surgery and back to my pre-mommy, 25 year old body! The first set of photos is me at 25 years old (and 8 weeks prego), me at about 40 weeks pregnant, my after pregnancy deflated self and now at almost 35 after my mommy make-over. The frontal pictures just shows that my surgeon totally nailed getting my breast the right size and me looking like I did almost 10 years ago! I am super happy with my results!

Breast feeding 2 kids left my breast completely deflated and sad, basically just loose skin without any volume so I couldn't even take advantage of a push up bra. Pregnancy left me with a small umbilical hernia and a wide gap between my abdominal rectus muscles. I'm proud of my body and what it has accomplished but when I looked in the mirror something just seemed to be missing. I had to choose my tops and dresses carefully, mostly I just looked hollow and well, completely flat. Most bras didn't fit and wouldn't stay put since there was no volume, I've basically been living in padded sports bras and the occasional jr's sized bra for the last 5 years. It was frustrating- before kids I had a full 34C cup sometimes a small D; after, nada.

Dr Knotts had done my botox and a small cyst removal on my neck previously so I already knew I felt comfortable with his relaxed bedside manner. I'm only a week out from surgery but I'm already loving my results and extremely happy with the process. During my consultation Dr. Knotts took his time to understand what I was looking for and together came up with the plan. I didn't want to go too large with my implants so after careful measurement and using the vectra breast imaging system we chose Allergans smooth round moderate profile 286cc implants with a crease incision. My stomach had a roundness due to my muscles being so far apart and my belly button had a little weird protrusion from the hernia so he suggested a modified tummy tuck. During surgery he put my muscles back together, fixed the umbilical hernia, removed a small strip of skin to tighten things out and also did a small amount of lipo to even everything out over my abdomen and flanks. The incision is low and cut out my old c-section scar and is only a bit wider.

On surgery day I was extremely nervous but Dr. Knotts and the staff at Austin-Weston put me at ease. Dr Knotts himself called my husband to check up on me that evening and patiently answered questions. So far I've had 2 check-up appointments, each time he has answered all my questions, explained things thoroughly and never once appeared to be in a rush. I know at only 1 week out I'm swollen and don't have my final result but my breast look amazing!
