Reston, VA Office - 3 Weeks of Pain and Bruising, Horrible Scars Around Ears, No Noticeable Results

Not Worth It
Spent: $4,500 in Reston, Virginia, USA

Both the office manager and the doctor pulled my skin around to show me the 'results I could expect'. I paid cash and had the procedure 2 weeks later (they wanted to schedule me sooner, but I had obligations). I had the procedure (including extra lipo for the jaw line - they try to sell lots of extras) on Thursday AM, planning to return to work the next Monday (they said only 1 or 2 days were needed). I couldnt return to work or be in public for over 3 weeks. I had to use heavy makeup and my hair to hide the surgery. I had severe pain and swelling after the procedure... they said it was normal - but it wasn't - it was cellulitis - It was grotesque. I cracked a tooth from the bandaging around the head at night (you wear that for a month or longer). Burning shooting pains around my ears front and back for over a year, and huge lumpy scars around my ears that hurt whenever I get a cold or sinus problems. They take your 'after' picture one week after the procedure when you go to get the stitches removed - because the residual swelling has things looking 'firm'..... even in those pictures there is neglible difference from the before pictures, and once the swelling went down - no noticable difference from the front or side view. a lot of suffering, permanent disfigurement (lumpy scars that are painful) and no noticeable results........ Good luck trying to see the doctor again ... I went back 3 times (after calling and calling to get in) and each time was told to wait a few more months - then at the one year point was told to have a different surgery (and another $4500)
