Not Worth It
Spent: $1,000 in Glendale, CA

I did it so I can have fuller lips..which didnt happpened because it spread to other areas of my face. The fullness lasted a few days then I started to look plastic.

It has totally changed my face and ruined my smile. I think the oil has spread to other areas and I hate it !!!. My lips arent even big. Anyway..Im looking to see if there are solutions out there for me..other then get it surgically removed.

My Doctor: Name not provided

I felt that she didnt know what she was doing.

The most reasonable approach would be surgical removal and even then it may not be possible . Your situation has to be evaluated in person.

I also had silicone injected into my lips and HATE it!! The doc did a great job, and they are definately full and give me that "trout pout"- but it has really changed my look to the point that if I smile, I kinda look a little like the joker! But when I'm just looking "pouty", it looks "sexy" --- I have had it in since 2003 and haven't smiled too much and I hate it! Everyone thinks I'm miserable coz I never want to smile. I would love to have it removed, but was told by my plastic surgeon that it would NOT be advisable as taking the silicone out will majorly "distort" my natural lips and will almost definately make me look very unatural; so here I am stuck with this look til the day I die and I am sad about the choice I made so many years ago. I should have stuck with the colagen I had previously gotton every few months!! *I sure hope this comment helps any person thinking about silicon lip injections!! DONT DO IT!!!*

Oh God, 'anotheruser' now you freaked me out because Im looking for a doctor who can remove the silicone in my upper lip which is droopy and empty where the cupids bow is. My God,I hope you are ok now, I can understand how u feel even though i have yet to remove mine i live with a mutilated face as some doctors have called in on one site every day :((

Just read your post....Was wandering if you found a doc to remove that from your upper lip and fix your "cupids bow?" I feel bad for you sweetie! Like I said, MY lips cost me $2,300/I had them done in Manhatten NYC by a well reputable plastic surgeon so they look good but only when I'm pouting! If I smile, then it looks very unatural and waaaaay to big. I hate to smile and almost never do! THIS WAS NOT WORTH IT!!! :(

I actually just got your post as well as this Dr. Sheldon S. Kabaker. You may want to contact him as he says he has removed silicone from lips; but has to see you first. I gave up! I still have the silicone in my lips. I didnt get a "bad" lip job---its just that I dont like the Angelina Jolie look anymore! I want my small lips back just as they were before I had silicone!! Stay in touch and let me know what happens with ya!!! OK? GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!!
