I got mesotherapy because of all the stories I read about celebs who use it and claim it works.

When I got to my appointment I asked the doctor about the contents of the injection.

He explained to me it was a proven formula that was proprietary to his practice. I should have run for the door! Immediately after the injection I noticed that my heart rate got really high; I felt like I was going to pass out. Hours later I returned to normal, but I was scared the whole time.

Later I researched why this would happen, and found on the Internet mentions about mesotherapy cocktails that contain Aminophylline and isoproterenol that treat asthma and hypertension. These can cause dangerous heart rate increases like what I probably experienced.

As far as slimming, I didn't note much change. No miracles. But then again the doctor said I would need several dozen injections to get the slimming I desired.

So can't really say if it works, but I can't recommend it. I would wait until the FDA has approved it before doing it.
