I had a CO2 Laser procedure last Dec 2009 by Dr R and S in Redlands, CA and the result was scars, dark pigmentation, and a distorted texture. My face was burned and mutilated. He had used a CO2 laser machine that he claim was a new machine, which he had little to no practice using, and used me as practice. It has been a year and my skin has not recovered, and my skin has become hypersensitive to everything. It has altered my life due to the fact that not only has my face been altered; I can only go out into the sun for short periods of time. Even after a year.
It has been a nightmare. I do not know if I can ever correct the damage done to my skin.
Dr R, denied the procedure had done it, and suggested I seek another doctor. I was left on own to seek help for what he had done.
When I went to seek the help of another doctor, they said no smart doctor would touch my face and could not do anything for me because I needed to heal because a layer of my skin was striped raw.
I went to Dr R for a few acne scars and got more scars, dark pigmentation, and wrinkled looking skin. That I cannot even go out the door with out getting bright red skin.
He was negligent by using a machine he had little to no experience on my skin.
Please advice, what can I do to help me skin....

Hi Patty,
Wow, I can't believe he used you for practice with the machine, that's crazy. Have you gone to see anyone else, they might be able to help or provide some insight? Please keep us updated, again I'm so sorry.
