My sunspots and wrinkles were really bothering me and no skincare regimen seemed to do the trick. Wanted to try Obagi and dermatologist recommended starting with ViPeel for a clean slate. Burned a little at first. Next day or two felt like a bad sunburn but not unbearable with the moisturizer they sent me home with. Then I started peeling like a snake. Within the week virtually all the sunspots disappeared and the wrinkles were noticeably softer. I've gotten a ton of compliments and totally recommend to anyone with similar concerns.

I am thinking about getting the Vi Peel in January. I work in a hospital's IT department and I interact with providers and staff all day long. My question is, should I take a few days off? I don't want to walk around the hospital peeling because they might send me to the dermatology department, lol. How long did the peeling last?

I do have pix that I will post shortly. As for the effects, I got the peel late on a Friday afternoon and my face was red and tight over the weekend (uncomfortable but not unbearable) - looked worse than it felt. By Monday morning I was PEELING big time (no pain) until Wednesday when it started tapering off - still peeling but not bad. Nail scissors to snip away hanging stuff and the ViPeel moisturizer were my new friends. By Friday it was just little bits of skin flaking off and I could really see the results - brown spots were almost completely gone and wrinkles weren't as deep especially around my eyes. A week later the pH of my skin was back to normal and people could really notice the difference. Then I started the Obagi Nu-Derm line to maintain. My skin looks and feels so much better! Glad I started with the ViPeel. Hoping I don't need another one but if I do I think I'd do it so that the peeling (days 3/4/5) occur when I can hide (like on a weekend) so as not to scare the little kids at my daughter's school ;-p Hope that helps!

How is the Nuderm working out for you. I have sensitive skin and a little hesitant. Going for a peel in a couple of weeks.

It's keeping my skin in the shape it was post peel but I think I may ask for the stronger Retin-A (I have the 0.5 now which is middle of the road); I don't notice too much flaking/peeling but my skin feels and looks pretty darn good, definitely better than pre-peel. :) Since the Retin-A is the most active ingredient you may want to keep it at the low end - the 0.25 - for starters to check your sensitivity). Hope that helps!
