Just started to do the laser hair removal of the bikini area too!

Today is 6 weeks post op and I decided to finally get laser hair removal done on my bikini area because I am tired of waxing and I despise shaving! So, today was the first day of it and it was not too bad.

My tummy tuck healing process is still going well and I am still putting the Biocorneum Scar Treatment on. Dr. says that I am still a little swollen on the bottom part of my belly and they will take pics at 3 months post op. Can't wait to see it! I am excited to wear a bikini in soon and just ordered one from Victoria's secret, but I have to wait for it to get here. I hope I like it on.... We will see....

post op one month!!! Wow, time flies by and as each week goes by it gets much better!

I have to say that my second drain was taken out a week after the first and I went back to work later than I expected. However, the second drain removal did not hurt as bad or feel as weird like the first one did.
At week three I was cleared to do light aerobic exercise like the elliptical and light weights.

So today I am one month post op and have been healing very well. I have started back exercising on the elliptical and tried to go at level 3 but it was too much and felt weird that I went back down to level 1. I have been doing some of the circuit training weights for my arms only after the cardio of 30 minutes. Also, I have been using biocorneum scar treatment that I purchased at my doctor's office. I am prone to keloids and am very concerned about it so I plan to use this stuff for six months. I do not want a big scar, although I know it is a given since it was a big cut.

Anyways, here are some recent photos...

Today is 9 days post op

Oh wow! Just saw my previous post and I was using my phone when I typed all of that....geez, talk about a lot of typos....lol

The day my left drain was yanked out, I was a bit more swollen on that side and I was not able to move around too much. I had to take things easy that day... But today, it was fine and I am hoping to get my second drain out tomorrow. My dr. is having me call in every day to let him know the output and hopefully I can get this out before I start work on Monday......
