Currently on day 4 after treatment. Started w/ 2 hrs. incubation and 15mins. of Blu-U light. Thank goodness for the fan while under the light - I was waving that fan to keep my face cool! Rode home in car w/ hat & scarf to avoid sunlight exposure - I would advise to have someone drive you & pick you up from appt. if possible - it does help to keep the sun from hitting you directly. DO NOT go anywhere else except home! My dad ran errands, walked to mailbox (sun exposure), and had much much harder time healing.
Day 1 was mostly redness & heat (used cold packs to help). Day 2 more of the same, and day 3 more tightness of skin. Didn't have much pain but did take Tylenol regularly to keep from having it. Now, day 4 major dryness, flaking, and peeling starts.
I hear this treatment is worth it & you look so much better when it's over! My dad had it 3 wks. ago & looks amazing! Will write again at end of recovery. Good luck!
