About three weeks out

I am feeling better each day, but there is a wall I hit. I get up and do a little of this and that, certainly not back up to my full speed, and then I just get light headed and nauseous and have to sit down for the rest of the day.
I start work next week and am so glad I was able to take the month off before starting my new job. My mom left last week, but I still need help with cooking and cleaning so my husband has been extra helpful taking it all on. We usually split it up, I cook and he take our daughter outside to play, but he is doing both. What a man! I will hopefully post photos soon.

happy-sort of

I LOVVVEEEE my new boobs. I'm not deeply complaining, but I am not completely happy. My breast were asymmeterial before with the right being smaller than the left . ol' righty was the one with the split nipple too, always having to be different. I followed my surgeons instructions that I went with. One surgeon said no lift on the left and two implants of varying volume to create symmetry. Dr. Ferrari said to have a lift and put two implants of he same size. Now the left is certainly larger and rounder than the right. I wouldn't give them back, but I wish I had put in two separate sizes to create more symmetry. I also which I went bigger overall. I couldn't hold back and tried on some bras to see and I am a 36a. Two cup increase, but I was hoping for a 34D. All is well. I can correct all of this minor this when it's time to replace.

Tummy tuck is getting better everyday, Still in a bit of discomfort, am swollen below the belly button a lot too. Above the belly button is very flat.

Stories

It's been about 12 days since surgery and I am no longer taking pain medication except maybe once a day after doing some activity, like shopping for an hour; that's about all I can take. But the funny thing is, now all the stories are coming out. I don't really remember the first week, honest. It all seems like a blur of trying to go to the bathroom, not wanting to eat, sleeping, and watching the WHOLE second session of Orange is the New Black on netflix. Apparently, I was a wicked crazy acting, but I don't remember. LOL. Hubs says at 2am I demanded he call the doctor to switch my pain meds because the hydro-codine was making me sick. My mom recounts me then screaming that he had been gone too long and was dead on the highway and she had to go find him or I would die. I remember sleepily asking in the middle of the afternoon like a precious little lamb and then falling back asleep, for real. LOL. There were many more. So I guess I would say I am on the sensitive side to medication, cause that first week is a blur. =)

Things are still healing up well, I thin. Steri-strips on, belly button and drain sight healing up, still not stating 100% straight, but doing most things alone now. I don't know if any one else is a yogi, but I feel like my body is going to break in half if I don't stretch soon.
Happy healing!

My Initial experience with Dr. Ferrari has been good. He is personable and easy to talk to. I liked that he was not hurried or too high and mighty acting. I am also impressed to hear that his main nurse has been with him for so long. Dr. Ferrari offered me lots of educational material to read at home and sent a letter to me letting me know I was welcome to call with further questions. I will update my review after my surgery.
