I had Radiesse injected into my naso-labial folds yesterday. The injections really didn't hurt too bad because it is injected with a small amount of lidicane.

I was lucky that I didn't get any bruising even though my doctor told me it was a possible complication. My naso-labial folds are completely filled and it certainly has a more youthful appearance. The only thing is my smile looks kind of weird now. I don't know if it's still swollen or if this is the final appearance. I'm hoping that after a few days my smile looks more natural. I will keep you posted on the outcome and if anyone has had a simalar experience please let me know the outcome. Thanks

to carolyn joy Yes, your radiesse will look more natural over time, and your smile will return to normal over time. The radiesse will start to conform to the natural contours of your muscles and will look very natural, this has been my experience. good luck. Nan
