I am 45 and went to get the lines around my mouth treated. The doctor offered a nerve block done through the inside of my upper lip vs. no block. Being a rather wimpy person I opted for the block which was a little less uncomfortable than a nerve block that the dentist might use for filling a tooth. Only doctors can do nerve blocks, so that's a pretty big advantage in my opinion, because after that it was pain-free.

I had a little bruising which was probably due to the fact that I did not stop my anaprox far enough in advance (only 1 day ahead of time). Were it not for that I could have walked out of there looked perfect from day 1- as it was it took about a week for the small pinhead-size bruises to resolve.

I could not believe how fantastic I looked. It took ten years off, easily. I needed a touch-up six months later, but that looks like it's going to last much longer. The second time was just as easy as the first.
