Worth It
Spent: $1,200 in Geneva, Switzerland

I had radiesse put into my hands and face (nasolines and cheeks). If you are gaunt this product is wonderful, if you are average with wrinkles that need to be filled-be VERY CAREFUL with whom is your practitioner and how, where it is injected.

This is face putty, (you) the DR!!! has to spread it right before it sets in its position. I watched him do this with my hands, its amazing, the hand result is superb, from boney veiny things (and i'm young!) to smooth veinless boneless hands, i'm overjoyed.

BUT the face, gone from being skinny, to massive odaeme on 1st day. I looked like a blow fish or bulldog with hanging jowles. I have used ice packs, Apis 30CH homeopathic granules and swelling reduced. Contrary to what one should normally do with swelling I DID massage, not too hard (avoid broken veins, trauma, haematome blues..), the product into the areas of my face that i wanted it to settle into, with Dr's OKAY. My Dr injected deep, so I hope i don't get hard surface nodules on my face.

I think Radiesse can either turn somebody into a freak or give them that woderful youthful fullness, whichever, its the Dr that counts and NEVER put Radiesse into the lips-from my Dr's lips.

I'm only two days into Radiesse, the swelling is down significantly, i've calmed down and I can see the end result maybe be real cute when all the swelling has gone.

With Radiesse be ready for hell the first few days/week, cos it can make you look, especially in the morning, heck ugly!! The first day, I swore i'ld never touch this stuff again! Now, I can face people, but i've made sure i've moved the product out of my lower face, which seems to drift overnight, back to where I want it. End 2nd day, actually, I like my new baby face, the swelling going down fast. Now I am confident it will be great. I will return for adjustment and additional filler two weeks after the first lot has settled, cos I've waved goodbye to that horrid gaunt look, and I can't see those bones anymore and ofcourse, no wrinkles.

Hi Tanya, Can you let me know whether you are still pleased with the results of the Radiesse? I'd be interested in having it done and I live in Geneva as well. Many thanks in advance. Ruth

I recently had Radiesse injections under my eyes to fill in the hollowness under my eyes. I felt I always looked tired. I experienced the usual bumps and puffiness that everyone else has described. But now worse than the bumps I have a very very red streak under both eyes. At first I thought it was like a black and blue mark, but it has been 8 weeks since the injections and it still has not gone away. Is this an allergic reaction? I am so dissatisfied with Radiesse
