“Radiesse False Claims to Lasting Typically One Year”

I had three syringes @ $800 per syringe injected into my naso labial lines in November 2007 with Radiesse.I chose radiesse because of their advertisements which state that the product typically lasts for up to one year.Initially,my naso labial lines were gone!!!

By the end of March 2008,my naso labial lines reappeared and all the radiesse filler diappeared.
I contacted BioForm,the company that produces radiesse,and voiced my concerns about the lack of longivety as claimed in their advertising.The radiesse representative contacted the doctor's office,and I received a phone call from the doctor's nurse,but have no resolve as yet.

Appartently,the doctor was suppose to take photographs both before and after of the area injected,but did not.

Warning:it doesn't last & is too expensive !!!!

In good faith,BioForm has offered reinjection of Radiesse with photographs to be taken prior and post injection on 7/15/08.

I will update my review from 7/15/08 forward,but I believe that it is important for a company to stand behind their product which BioForm is willing to do

As I stated in my previous review, the results of the raidesse augmentation looked good,but only lasted four months for me.I would be pleased if it lasted at least 9 months!!! Time will tell.

I met with two reps from BioForm yesterday,and was re injected with Radiesse.I learned from the reps that it is critical that the injector know the correct sites for injection.My first experience the injections were directly into the nasolabial folds,but yesterday after talking with the reps the injections were into my cheeks were I have volume loss due to aging.I am very happy with the results,and completely  pleased with the manner in which BioForm stood behind their product.I recommend the product,but strongly urge anyone that wants to use Radiesse to choose the injector carefully.Updated 7/16/08
