Worth It
Spent: $1,400 in Australia

I had cheek implants with Radiesse less than 48 hours ago. There was no pain when I had the procedure done. I've also had botox and I would say it is really not much worse than botox.

I had numbing cream placed on my face for about 20 mins prior to treatment. With some of the injections I was waiting to feel the product being injected when it had already been done and the needle removed.
Post-treatment I had no swelling on the left side of my face. However I did have swelling under my right eye and a little around the right side of my nose. I was nervous about this because a lot of the horror stories I had read, but I called my doctor who told me that the implant would not have moved and to ice the area. About 5 hours later I could see that the swelling was going. Don't over ice because you will 'burn' your skin. It happened to me.

Today is day 2 since the procedure and I do not have any more unusual swelling. My cheeks are still a bit tender but I did not ever have any bruising. So far I am happy with what I can see. There is definite fullness in my cheeks and it looks natural. I think with makeup also I will be able to enhance the overall look with the shading of blush.
