I had breast augmentation last week. My recovery has been great but I am not satisfy with the size my surgeon chose for me. Based on the reviews it is always good to listen to your surgeon but this time my surgeon did not consider my opinion. I was a 34 A he decided to put 375cc silicone gel implant and I feel the same before my surgery. I even told his secretary before the surgery that I was not confortable with the size and she assure me the doctor was going to talk to me and this never happened.

The day of the surgery he came put his mark and I was put to sleep. In addition, he put the incision under my breast instead of my nipples as we had agreed. I am very sad and disappointment with the results. Spend all my savings for something I thought I was going to be a great experience.

I would like any advice from a proffesional of what to do at this point. My surgery was three weeks ago and I my implants are very small. My surgeon chose the size and now I am with a size I did not wanted. I want them out or replace. Is it possible at three weeks after my surgery?

My rating:

As a surgeon he is one of the best, however, he does not seem to listen to what the patient wants.

I'm sorry your results weren't what you hoped. Do you feel that you're smaller than you wanted to be or larger?

Hello Angie, yes my doctor chose a full B moderate plus silicone implant with 375cc. I tried in different times to talk to him before surgery but not appointment available. The day of the surgery he did not say a word only came to do his marks on me. It has been 2 weeks today since my surgery. I am 5'2, 120lbs. My breasts size looks almost the same than before surgery the different is that there are not saggy. In addition, one breast is higher than the other one and one is bigger than the other one too. I do not know what to do.

You might want to consider posting this as question in our doctor Q&A community. You should get some guidance within a day or two. If you can include photos, that is really helpful for the doctors. Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear you are unhappy. I had to tell my ps exactly the size I wanted. They are not gonna put you in 500-600cc if you do not ask for it because they are larger sized implants. Out of all the forms I have read I hear that 375 is about the average size. I highly doubt you will be able to get them replaced for free with a bigger size. In the future just get them redone and go for more cc. JUst give it some time after they drop and fluff you may feel better about them... Post a pic so we can see. They have to be bigger than what you started out with. You did not try on sizers before surgery to see what you liked???

Unfortunately I didn't try on sizes. I trusted my surgeon’s judgment and suggestions. I know I will not be able to replace them for free but at least I know this will not happen to me again. I will post pictures soon so you can see the before and after pictures.

yea you have to go with what you want so you will be happy with the end result. They don't know what you really want unless you tell them. After all it is your body.
