Almost 5 months post-op!!

Wow! Time flies! I have no edema anymore (swell hell ended about three months after)...Super happy with my results. .. still get some twinges of pain when I twist or stretch my torso, but nothing too serious...Will need to have the ends revised to get rid of small dog ears . .. but overall I do not regret this decision!

Mepitac. .

Incision has now completely closed. .. had a spot that was being stubborn (where the drain was). . There are spots that are already super thin/light, but my local vendor had rolls of Mepitac for under 20$ and it has enough for three applications so I thought I would give it a try. .. still some slight pleating in the center but apparently this should remold over the next few months. Either way it still looks way better then before! Still have thigh swelling. .. not so much in my midsection though. .. and my back is really sore from the liposuction .. Worse now then the first couple of weeks. ... have to take something at night to fall asleep. .. and hurts like he'll when bumped! I am assuming this is just nerve regrowth. ..

Experiment success!! Binder hell!

Well, moist wound environments definitely aid the incision healing process! Completely sealed up now, but one spot (where a drain was) decided to stubbornly hold out until this morning.. ..However, my binder is driving me insane. The "one size fits all" binder I woke up in never sat well and continually rode up my left hip....so I switched to two back braces but ended up with dual compression in my midsection leading to increased upper thigh edema. ... Gah! I was going through my old workout gear when I found an old waist shaper thing that seems to be doing the trick quite nicely! Plus it fits better under my clothes and I don't have to wear a t shirt underneath it. .. .win!!
