“Price Vs. Pain+results = Not Worth It!!”
Posted 18 Mar 2009
I had my appointment last Saturday and it was done by my dentist who I have a very good relationship with. The appointment included four 15-minute-sessions that went quite well. At the end, I was given 2 trays to use at home with a whitening product to do 3 final sessions for the next 3 days in order to "even the whitening on my teeth".
During Saturday afternoon, I experienced lots of pains in my gum and extreme sensitivity in my teeth. I had a few lesions including the largest sore I ever had (still have it). My teeth where significantly whiter but hurting like hell! Because of the pain, I could not start the extra sessions at home before today (5 days later). This morning, I noticed a few grey stains on the front teeth (those were not there at the beginning). I did my first home session during 3 hours and then took the trays off and went to work where it hurt all day like hell.
I don't regret using the service as I really wanted to have whiter teeth. If not doing it, I would have regretted it thinking back. But now that I know how it is and its results, I will not do it again. Considering the price (very expensive) and the extreme pain that even prevents you to do the final treatment as it is supposed to be, the result (even if it is actually whiter but with grey stains appearing later on) is certainly not worth it.
Do more research. I am sure there is a better system out there than this one.
