“Post botox under eye swelling & discoloration”
Botox: NOT worth it
Cost: $1,380
Pain: Painfree
Pain: Painfree
Botox satisfaction: Poor
I do not recommend my Botox provider: Sign in or join to view provider name
Why: I believe the person who performed the procedure had no idea what she was doing, and will only go to the MD who owns the spa on future visits for Botox
After many years of great Botox results, my practitioner injected Botox several times directly under my eyes and a week later the swelling began. It is now a month since the treatment and my under eyes are massively swollen and discolored with the hollows sunken beneath the swollen areas.
I have read many comments and questions on this site wherein others have experienced the same plight, but, as a result of the Botox having migrated. I am concerned as my situation results from direct injections to the affected areas and wonder if time will heal the swelling and discoloration as the Doctors feel it will for others who have only a little Botox under the eyes.

I have had Botox three times before and was very happy. This time (a week ago) I went to my new dermatologist and she injected under my eyes. I have never had bags or black circles in my life but I do now. I am very remorseful and pray that they will go away! It ages me at least five years! Good luck to you. Please let me know if you've had good news of improvement. Sheryl
