14 Months POST OP! Belly Button Scar Treatment and Supplements

Hi guys! I can't believe it has been 14 months since my surgery! I seriously feel like I have had this body forever. Haha!
Just wanted to update you all with a few pictures. I am so so happy with everything. My boobs are the perfect size for my body and my stomach is just amazing. I can't believe I can sit down without having to pull my pants up over my belly skin anymore. Lol.
So a couple of things: I have been working really hard on trying to get my belly button to look more natural, which means I need to work on the scar. I am not in love with the shape, it is a bit oval and I would've preferred a bit rounder, but I'm pretty sure there is nothing I can do about it now.
I put on the scar cream and whatnot but that really won't do anything to the scar but maybe fade it a little faster than normal. So I decided to get some bbl treatments done which actually pull the red color from the scar. That worked good and the scar definitely faded a bit. It went from red to more light pink. I had 3 treatments done. However, YOU CANNOT have a tan when you get this procedure done and it was during the summer so I had to stop doing those.
But aside from the color I really wanted the scar to be diminished. I was talking to my aesthetician and we have been doing micro needling on my face ( don't even get me started on how much I love micro needling) .

Well, micro needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars, and improvement of the skin's texture, tone and color. During this procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin's repair process results in a thicker dermis with softer wrinkles. The micro pen also creates micro channels which allow topical gels, creams, and serums to be absorbed more effectively, enhancing their effects in deeper layers of the skin. (I promise it isn't painful at all, esp if your aesthetician uses lidocain or another type of numbing cream).

What are the benefits?
Wrinkle reduction, texture, tone improvement and softer younger looking skin with fewer signs of aging. New collagen production reverses years of sun damage. The micro pen also has a positive effect on hyper-pigmentation, as well as on hypo-pigmentation, acne scars, TRAUMATIC SCARS, and stretch marks!

So, we were doing the micro needling on my face for some scarring I had from years back as well as to help with some hyper pigmentation and I asked her if we could do the micro needling on my belly button. She said, of course we could and it would definitely improve the texture and look of my scar. I have had 4 treatments so far and I can DEFINITELY tell my scar has faded to an almost white in color but has also smoothed dramatically. I plan to go to as many appointments necessary in order to get my scar to a point where no one will even be able to tell its there. I hope to do this before bikini season!!

The next thing I want to talk about is how I was able to get my body back in shape and start to feel like myself again. I had a very swift recovery and was literally walking on my treadmill close to 2 weeks post surgery. We went to Hawaii 4 weeks post surgery and my husband and I ran close to 5 miles every day. I felt good, I wasn't in pain, my scars had healed nicely and I felt so blessed to be able to workout so quickly afterwards. I was very active and worked out daily before my surgery and also ate healthy, but I still wasn't sure how long it would take for me to recover and get back into it.
Anyway, I still felt like my energy was lacking. Everyday I would feel like I needed a nap around 3pm or lots of coffee to get through my day. I wouldn't sleep great and then the vicious cycle would start all over again. Even though I was exercising and eating healthy I still felt like something was missing. I felt tired and grumpy and like I couldn't focus on my day. I just kind of wanted to lay in bed after I got home from work and before the kids came home.
This has lasted since my surgery until about 2 months ago. I finally decided I needed a change so I started taking an all natural overall healthy supplement called THRIVE that has literally changed my life. It is the easiest thing I have ever done in an easy 1,2,3 step process. I am getting all of the vitamins and minerals my body needs within the first 20 minutes of my day and I no longer have that mid day crash! I literally wake up before my alarm and practically jump out of bed ready to tackle my day instead of just get through it. I am happy and my kids and husband have all noticed a difference in my demeanor and attitude. I have focus and clarity throughout the day and my cravings for sugar and salty snacks are gone!
I seriously cannot say enough good things about Thrive!! Since taking it I have lost 5 pounds (which I gained this winter), I am happy again, I have a natural, clean sustained energy throughout the day without that mid day crash. I am putting all natural, raw premium ingredients into my body that I know are good for me! Because I am a trainer I would often have people approach me asking to try different shakes or supplements so I could promote them if I liked them. I have never really liked anything or felt a difference from anything like I have with Thrive. I have bought everything from GNC, Complete Nutrition and nothing has impressed me like Thrive has.
Please message me if you'd like to hear more about it. I love helping people which is why I have loved this site so much. We all share what has worked for us or what has not worked so well. :) I can't tell you how many notes I took before my surgery; writing down everyones tips and ideas of what to do before and after surgery. Thank you everyone for you stories and your pictures and advice!
