I thought it would be a good idea to share my story. I have been to two consultations back in August and fell in love with Dr Raphael and knew that he was going to be my PS. I am scheduled for surgery on Oct 9 with preop on Oct 8th. I'm nervous but so excited. Last week I was having second thoughts so I need to keep up with this excited vibe. So I'm still naturally undecided on size but at least I've narrowed it to a small range of either 475cc or 500cc. I'm starting out a 36 barely there A, 5'5'' 135lb. Doc recommended 450-475 and 500 would also look nice. I have pics that I plan to bring to preop appt or day of surgery to show what I want, then i'll leave the rest up to him. I've already gone out to pick up sports bras, zip front jackets, button up shirts, sweatpants, CVS PEAS, heating pad, tylenol, laxatives, wedge pillow, neck pillow, gatorade, water, and crackers. I'm saying NO to alcohol and Ibuprofen until the big day and some days after. I'm all ready to go and will keep you guys updated throughout my journey!!!!

So surgery went well and I have been recovering nicely. No pain at all, just tightness. I took the pain meds prescribed for only the day of and the next day. Today i am only taking antibiotics, anti nausea meds, and extra strength tylenol. I will post pics soon. Oh and today was the first day I could enjoy a nice meal without feeling sick after a few bites.

I chose Dr. Raphael from seeing another patient case he had done. I fell in love from the moment I met with him and knew that he was my PS. He put me at such ease throughout this whole process and I want to thank him and his staff for that. Truly amazing facility.
