I still have a lot of swelling, but I think my scar is looking pretty good for only a week and 1/2. I am hoping to start scar treatment soon, but I have a couple of open spots that need more healing. I will be using the silicone strips, but for right now I am massaging the scar with bio-oil.
Drainless
I got my last drain removed yesterday and it felt wonderful! I thought it was painful, but it went quick. Doctor said I'm healing well and to start scar treatment as the bandages over the scar starts falling off. I am starting to have a little bit of cramping, but that has to do with the muscle repair. Feeling good today and I am walking pretty straight. I can also sleep in my bed now…before I was sleeping in a lounger. I am not ready to send pics yet but I will soon.
