“Pixel Laser Treatment Hot and Painful, but Hopefully Worth It!”
I am 44 years old, and I had my first Pixel treatment today. The clinic I went to was great. I am getting 5 altogether on my entire face for tone and texture, fine lines and big pores. My experience was that the treatment was painful. It feels like thin thin hot needle pinning your face. Afterwards, it felt like my skin was 2 sizes to small and my face was red and felt very hot. The laser technician used a topical numbing cream that took away the strong sunburned pain, she also provided me with a Post-pixel cream for home to keep my skin hydrated - something that is very important. I will use this cream regularly to keep my skin hydrated.
After about 2 hours, the redness was almost gone, my face calmed down a bit and felt much better.
The "No downtime and it's a lunch time procedure thing" that all those websites say is NOT true! I looked tomato-red and ridicules and had to cancel my brunch appointment. People stare;-) They say that the redness will subside in 24-36 hours. After all that has been said, Pixel, I do think, is worth it. I will let you know how things go and if I get a NEW and beautiful skin!
