I won a drawing for a free procedure at the place I have been getting alma treatments so I decided to try a photofacial. The procedure was done 4 days ago, so far I have had a lot of dark spots surface but I know that is to be expected. It felt like little snaps when I got it done, and I didn't have any sunburn like pain or redness after. I did smell burning hair and saw flashes of red light. Will let you know if the newly risen dark spots go away. I also received microdermabrasion here that was less than stellar a year ago on a groupon. But everything else has been great.

OK My final opinion is if you are just going to get one, don't bother. I saw no improvement and if anything I looked worse.
I don't blame the clinic at all, I think they are super awesome, I think it just may be something that didn't work for me or that I needed more of.

My rating:

I go here a lot and I like them. (I use a lot of places in Pittsburgh, I also get botox some where else and did laser hair removal at a third place and am getting a breast revision soon) The staff is very nice and Body Beautiful by far has the best prices however you need to look up after care and things for yourself as the techs often don't know how to get the most of the procedures. I wouldn't hesitate to use them though as long as you are informed ahead of time. *I won the photofacial, not sure what they charge

Thanks for posting an update - what a bummer to not see any changes though!

If you happen to notice any changes further down the road you think are a result of the photofacial please let us know.
